Dates of stay:15-18/11/09
Just come back from our 5th visit to Krakow staying in this beautiful apartment and I just know we shall soon be planning our 6th visit. Great location, lovely huge apartment with all mod cons and lots of space. Krakow is a wonderful city to visit, full of culture and history. Staying in the Stanislas completes our pleasure of staying in this wonderful city.

The apartment is incredibly spacious
with a great mix of original features and funky,
modern decor. We stayed for a week and it was a
perfect base for exploring Krakow and the surrounding
area. There are great local bars and restaurants
just round the corner, and it's only five minutes
walk from the main market square. Loved it!

We found the apartment very comfortable,
well equipped, airy and spacious. It is situated
in a building of character and centrally placed
between the medieval market square and castle and
the old Jewish quarter. The trams and buses conveniently
run outside.
Krakow is a city full of interesting history and
architecture and there is a great variety of places
to eat and drink at reasonable prices. Close to
the apartment is a large food, fruit and vegetable
market.

We stayed in this apartment in October
last year, which turned out to be a lovely time
to see the city. The apartment is beautiful, with
large rooms, high ceilings and parquet flooring;
really comfortable and well equipped. It soon felt
like home and we'd definitely return.
The location is excellent - well within walking
distance of all the attractions and nightlife Krakow
has to offer - but just as good for relaxing completely.

I'd heard lots about Krakow from
my mate and she recommended Apartment Stanislas
as it was so centrally placed. Having been to Prague
I was expecting a tram-ride away in a residential
area, but not here - slap bang in the middle of
the Jewish District. It was like walking round the
film set of Schindlers List!
Krakow is so much more diverse and less-touristy
than I thought. We only stayed 4 days but still
had things to do on our list. Maybe we shouldn't
have spent so much time sitting around the cafes
in the main square!
The holiday apartment was spotless, fresh and inviting.
You can really tell the owners have made an effort
to personalise the rooms. It is a lot more than
just somewhere to put your head down.
We had a great time in Krakow- lovely city, lovely
people, you will gorge yourself on the food and
drink - and a beautiful holiday home I would definately
go to again and again. 100% recommended!! Thank
you Stanislas!!

Really enjoyed my visit to Krakow,
had a very comfortable stay in the flat too. Next
time I will bring the whole family as it sleeps
up to 9.

Verging on a "boutique apartment",
I think this is the most stylish place I have stayed
in in Eastern Europe and god knows I have been to
a few. For the rental price I think it is an absolute
bargain and the agent was very helpful with all
my whims. Good location for the quirky Jewish District
with all its bohemian shops and bars.

We loved the flat – spacious
and modern but in a lovely old building. So central,
near to the main square and easy access by bus or
on foot to the many places of interest.

Apartment Stanislas is quite amazing.
From the outside the old, ornate building looks
quite insignificant. However, after first entering
the apartment I was quite blown away by the sheer
size of it. There is a real sense of space with
the high ceilings, long hallway and spacious rooms.
The original features such as the parquet flooring,
wood panalled doors, ceiling roses and ceramic heater
stacks have been retained. However, it has a real
comtemporary twist with it's furniture, lighting,
colourful decor and funky tiles in the main bathroom.
The owners have ensured that guests feel at home
by providing many home comforts such as a DVD player,
stereo system and all sorts of kitchen utensils.
However, there are so many wonderful bars and restaurants
within walking distance we hardly ever stayed in
during the evenings. Despite being on a busy road
the apartment is surprisingly quiet. I would recommend
it to anyone and Krakow is the place to go if you
like your food, a bit of culture, cobbled streets,
attractive buildings and vodka!
